Bradley 22s

Fishing
Whether you are interested in fly fishing or inshore fishing
Bitter End can provide you with guides and equipment to fish
to your heart's content. Their guides know the best fishing
sites; book early to ensure a boat and guide for your
desired day of fishing.
Deep
Sea Fishing
Half day and full day charters are available on BEYC's 24
foot fishing boat. The fishing boat is also available to
take you exploring to some of the fine beaches and coves of
the British Virgin Islands.
Blue
Water Excursions:
These are day trips on Corinthian (60-foot power catamaran
M/V Corinthian crewed) and Paranda (Spronk-designed 48’
racing catamaran Paranda crewed ). The trips are to Anegada,
The Baths, Norman Island and The Dogs.
Sunset Sail
/ Dinner Cruise
Relax while our staff does all of the sailing work, aboard
the 48’ Catamaran Paranda for the Sunset Cocktail Cruise or
a Starlight Champagne Cruise, or aboard the 59’ Corinthian
during a Dinner Cruise. All are included in the Admiral's Package.
Snorkeling
Everyone should enjoy the wonders of North Sound, either
right off the beach, or on Bitter End's specially designed
snorkeling boat Ponce de Leon. The water sports staff can
teach you in a few minutes right off the beach.
Bitter
End Sailing School
Sailing is at the heart of Bitter End. Guests have the
chance to enjoy the exhilaration of the Sound. Nothing
compares to the fun and freedom of skimming over North Sound
with the trade winds filling the sails, blue water slipping
past the boat and an easy hand on the tiller. Courses range
from An Introduction to Sailing to Cruising Preparation for
Bare Boating. The Admiral's package
includes the Introduction to Sailing course.

Kite boarding at Bitter End with Carib Kite

Carib Kite boarding, now open at Bitter End,
is a comprehensive kite boarding center offering lessons for
beginners through advanced riders, a complete line of kite
boarding equipment and accessories for rent or sale, and
guided kite boarding adventures. Basic lessons start at $150
for 90 minutes and can go up to $2200 for an all-inclusive
-- meaning you get to keep the gear!
Learn to Kite board Adventure, with instruction packages for small groups ($1000 for an all-day session with up to three people), and soon . . . BEYC Kite boarding Clinics!
Carib Kite boarding is PASA (Professional Air Sports Association) certified and the staff includes two pro riders, Hamish MacDonald and Justin Souter.

Scuba Diving with
Kilbrides Sunchaser Scuba
Bitter End caters to divers with access to great dive sites
– Coral forests, brilliant marine life, and wrecks,
including the famous Wreck of the Rhone. Skin Diver Magazine
has called it "the world's most fantastic shipwreck."
Divers are guided by Kilbrides Sunchaser Scuba at spectacular offshore sites. Non-Divers who want to learn to dive can take an outstanding PADI Resort Course for beginners, offered at Bitter End by the world-famed Kilbrides Dive Team.
Kilbrides Guided Tours
Trips on fully equipped dive boats leave early each morning
from our docks, and include two tank dives:
- Monday: The Dog Islands - 20 beautiful dive sites to choose from
- Tuesday: Ginger Island - best coral dives in the BVI
- Wednesday: Wreck of the Rhone - world famous wreck – a must!
- Thursday: Wreck of the Captains Choice - exhilarating wrecks
- Friday: The Dog Islands
- Saturday: Wreck of the Rhone
- Sunday: The Dog Islands (subject to change)

Diving for Beginners
If you'd like to learn Scuba, the Kilbrides Team offers a
first class Resort Course at Bitter End. The three hour PADI
approved Resort Course thoroughly covers the basics. You'll
find you don't have to be a strong swimmer to enjoy the
sport.
Kilbrides Sunchaser Scuba (right) has been in operation at Bitter End for 25 years, providing a variety of diving options in one of the most pristine diving destinations of the world. In addition to the Adventure Packages, Kilbrides offers other diving options, such as open water certification and enhancements (underwater videography) of your dive.
Hiking and Exercise
Bitter End guests can enjoy easy sea level walks and
challenging hikes on a system of well-maintained trails. The
marked trails give you choices ranging from a short nature
stroll along Biras Creek and its bird sanctuary salt pond to
an exhilarating climb through orchid-festooned woods with
the reward of spectacular panoramic views from surrounding
hillsides and peaks.
One spectacular view, at the end of "Guys Trail," over the top of Bitter End, offers a challenging hike that rewards with a view of North Sound, Saba Rock and the Clubhouse Beach.
Or, you can hike up the National Park trail to the summit of Gorda Peak, just a short trip from the resort.
Guided nature walks are given several times a week in the early morning as well as in the late afternoon.
Exercise
Vita Course and Running Track Our Vita Course 2000 Fitness
Course has 1/8 mile of jogging track with an excellent low
impact surface, in a tropical park-like setting. Sixteen
exercise stations provide isometric as well as weight
resistance and stretching exercises. A shaded rest area is
adjacent, and the entire facility is lighted for evening
workouts.
Swimming
Measured courses are marked along
the beaches at either end of the property and there is a
designated lap-swimming lane in the pool.
Shore side games at Bitter End
Quandary: After a gorgeous and active day on the water, it
is Sundowner time for you, but the kids are still looking
for something to do. Solution: Shore side games! In addition
to the usual evening movies, board games and books, a new
croquet park, horseshoes pit and tether ball circle have all
been added to the Vita Course. There's also a bocce court by
the pool, an ideal spot for enjoying a friendly game over a
few drinks, if the adults in the group are so inclined.
Beaches
The beaches of the British Virgin
Islands are among the most pristine in the world.
Bitter Ends three white sand swimming beaches are fully
equipped with lounges, beach furniture, and thatched bohios
for shade. Beverage service is available on the beach
adjacent to the Clubhouse. There are two swimming piers at
the north-end beaches steps away from the Beachfront Villas,
and a freshwater swimming pool near the North Sound Suites.
Spectacular snorkeling lies just off the beach below the North Sound Suites at Wedding Point.

Boat Damage Waiver
Sometimes you can run aground even in paradise. Boat damage
waivers are available at a cost of $10.00 per night of your
stay. When you use a BEYC boat you are responsible for the
full value of the boat and its equipment if lost or damaged.
By paying $10.00 per day for a boat damage waiver, you will
not be held responsible for damage to your B.E.Y.C. boat
(provided you have not operated the boat recklessly).
