In addition to all the amenities and activities of a full service resort, Bitter End is also home to a full service marina, with dockage, over 70 moorings, where repairs, provisions and supplies are readily and easily available.
Location
On the northeast end of Virgin Gorda in the BVI, Bitter End Yacht Club is blessed with year-round trade winds and a tranquil, deep-water harbour. Although only accessible by sea, Bitter End is just 12 miles from Tortola, 30 miles from St. Thomas, and 75 miles from Puerto Rico. Taking advantage of its locations, Bitter End offers daily Blue Water Excursions and diving trips to nearby sites including:

Transportation to and from BEYC -The Bitter End Ferry:
To and from Gun Creek, Virgin Gorda
Ferry transportation from Bitter End to Gun Creek (the nearest point accessed by road on Virgin Gorda) departs the Main Dock every hour on the hour, except for 8:00PM, from 8:00AM to 10:00PM every day.
Ferry transportation from Gun Creek to Bitter End departs every hour on the half hour, except for 8:30PM, from 8:30AM to 10:00PM every day.
This service is daily.
When you depart Bitter End to return home from your vacation, please schedule a time with the Reception Desk to be met at Gun Creek by Potter's Taxi to be taken to the airport on Virgin Gorda. If you are only going over for the day, and would like taxi service from Gun Creek, it must be arranged at the Reception Desk in advance.
To and from Beef Island, Tortola
Ferry transfers are $35 per person each way. Children ages 12 and under receive complimentary transfers. Schedule is subject to change. Late departures are available for arrivals after 7:30 PM. There is a surcharge of $30.00 per person each way.

We recommend that your departing flight be scheduled to depart after 8:15 am.
Alternate Route:
If you book to the Virgin Gorda Airport (booking code = VIJ), Potter's Taxi will pick you up at the airport. The same transfer fee applies. Virgin Gorda Airport closes at dusk.

Deposits and Payments
Three Nights’ Deposit is due upon confirmation of a tentative reservation and required to guarantee reservation. We accept checks, American Express, Visa, Discover and Master Card. The balance including tax and service charge is due 60 days prior to arrival or on September 1 for those booked during Holiday Season.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Full refunds (less one night's fee) are available on cancellations received more than 30 days prior to arrival or before September 1 for those booked during the Holiday Season. Refunds are not available on cancellations made within 30 days of arrival.
Service Charge / Tipping
The service charge makes tipping for meal service, housekeeping, bellman and porters unnecessary. Gratuities for the sailing staff and boat operators are not included in the service charge.
Newspapers
The New York Times fax is available in the lobby building, Monday through Friday. You may reserve a copy at the reception desk.
Safety Deposit Boxes
Boxes are available at the cashier's office on the second floor of the lobby building.
Laundry
Laundry service is available. You will find laundry tickets and bags on the shelf in your bedroom. Laundry dropped off at the reception desk in the morning will be delivered to your room that evening.
Voltage
Outlets at Bitter End are 110 volts, as in the United States. Otherwise, converters are available through the reception desk.
Hairdryers and Iron
Hairdryers and irons are available at the reception desk.
